20-year-old Ethiopian immigrant to Israel, Sisai, lives with his adoptive family - the Gavros.   Upon his return to Israel from Ethiopia, Mr. Gavro tells Sisai he has found his biological father.

Unsure of how to react to the news and the potential confrontation with his past, Sisai does not share his excitement with his adopted family.  Sisai, his brother (who is also the director of the film) and their adopted father journey to Ethiopia in search of their history, personal identity, and longing to connect to their homeland.
