Red band is a ‘mockumentary’ similar to Avenue Q or Spinal Tap but with puppets.

This hysterical Israeli television comedy follows the wild yet out-of-touch band and their train wreck of a front man Red Orbach as they try to collaborate with famous Israeli artists like Aviv Gefen and Mosh Ben-Ari, to make it in the music business. The show is mostly in English but with Tel Aviv slang and Israeli jokes, thanks to Ari Feffer, Micha Duman and Ami Wiesel, all Israeli Americans who grew up with Rock & Roll in their hearts.  “Red band blurs the lines even further between Israeli and American culture, and in doing so,  are making people on both sides laugh until it hurts.
